LoanValue

Thomson Reuters LPC, the authority in data, news and analytics to the secondary loan market since 1991, introduces LoanValue, a series of real-time loan valuation models and calculators.

These calculators facilitate transparency and consensus in the $102 billion U.S. secondary loan market. Building upon Thomson Reuters LPC's Relative Value calculator (Yield Calculator), widely used in the global loan markets since 1998, LoanValue enables loan syndicators, traders and investors to quickly evaluate buy and sell decisions.

MarketCalc

MarketCalc provides access to Thomson Reuters LPC's real-time market pricing model, which utilizes comparable market data (including secondary loan prices, spread, rating, industry and company outlook) to approximate the market value for a leveraged loan.

The Price Calculator, an additional feature of MarketCalc, enables users to determine the price of a loan or bond given its coupon and a required yield. Thomson Reuters LPC's comprehensive DealScan® data is linked into Price Calculator to enable users to save input time by automatically populating the required input fields with DealScan® data, such as spread and amortization schedule, where available.

Yield Calculator

Yield Calculator enables users to determine the total yield of a loan or bond given its coupon and secondary market price. It also facilitates Relative Value analysis between two instruments (loan and/or bonds).

Thomson Reuters LPC's comprehensive DealScan® data is linked into Yield Calculator to enable users to save input time by automatically populating the required input fields with DealScan® data, such as spread and amortization schedule, where available, saving input time.
